The Kon Tiki Inn has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for our website www.kontikiinn.com. Our site uses order forms for customers to request information, products, and services. When you provide your personal information such as name, address, email address and phone number, it will be used only to support your customer relationship with us and will not be shared with anyone else, except as may be required by law enforcement agencies. Your IP address and cookie information may be used to gather only broad demographic information, to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our website. Our site may contain links to other sites; the Kon Tiki Inn is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other websites.

SECURITY:

The Kon Tiki Inn's payment processor uses the latest industry standard encryption software (SSL) to protect personal information. All personal information which you provide on our payment deposit page, including name, address and credit card number, is encrypted so that it cannot be read over the internet. Other email correspondence is not considered secure.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

It is our policy to charge, at a minimum, the dollar amount of the first night's reservation when a reservation is booked. We have a 3 day cancellation policy. A reservation must be cancelled at least 3 days prior to the arrival date in order to receive a refund of the deposit amount, less a $10.00 cancellation processing fee. For group or multiple night bookings, a longer cancellation period and higher cancellation fee may be required - customers will be notified at the time the deposit is paid. Any reservations cancelled after the above noted cancellation deadlines will forfeit the deposit amount. Customers will be charged for unused nights of shortened stays or no-shows.
